I am relieved and anxious at the same time after listening... almost like a child jumping from a height and being reassured by the adult that they'll be caught. Being Christian we're instructed to "not be afraid" so fear is pushed aside and replaced by affirming scripture and proclamations we make based on the truths we read in scripture

Hearing that I am allowed to be afraid is new to me. I see younger me in the dandelion and I'm almost afraid to approach him... the irony lol.

I still need to make sense of what I heard today for myself but I know that I'm glad I found this space ❤️

fear.

what are my fears list them:

pain. discomfort. disconnection. grief. silence. unpredictability. pain. discomfort. disconnection. grief. silence. unpredictability. pain.

each energy has breath. everything has tides of big and small, strong and weak.

every part is eternal. every part is a child.

you. fear is afraid of me.

we are all ancient children walking eachother home.

thank you ismatu. fear is only monster when we are alone. move and breathe.
