I took my sweet time coming back to social media after taking a month off of screen-time. And I am big grateful in two ways:
(1) that I didn’t force my body and brain to push through and hasten the rest. Healing exalts herself in the rest, even (especially) when it’s boring and tedious. In refusing the sense of urgency that surrounded getting back to work, I uphold the slow, steadfast love I said I wanted to show my body, who breathes for me. I really like keeping my word to myself.
(2) that I like this job enough to miss you all. I, clearly, consistently fail to understand how much you all manage to love and care for me. Me! An internet stranger turned internet friend. I didn’t know I could love the world this much. Every day you people expand my heart’s horizons.
learning with friends is lovely so enjoy. In truth: I didn’t save the previous lives because I lacked the means to caption them on screen and in video. To me, resources are not complete until they are accessible, and I didn’t want to negotiate this. Captions in this way took quite a while to figure out! thank you for your patience with me.
i hope the work of your day passes through or hands with ease.
[or, simpler said: peace.]
